Kyle utilities: who to call

Which water provider is yours?
The City of Kyle says not all residents are served by its water utility. It names County Line Special Utility District, Texas Water Utilities and Goforth Special Utility District as the other providers. Your bill shows yours.
If you are unsure, the city's jurisdiction finder lets you search by address. A boil water notice may come from the city or from your own provider.
The city's pages reviewed for this site do not say where its responsibility for a line ends and the homeowner's begins. Ask the water office before assuming. For comparison, the City of Buda states that it owns the meter and the large mains and that owners maintain the line from the meter to the building.
Where Kyle's water comes from
The city lists its permitted supply as roughly 54 percent from Canyon Reservoir through the Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority, 15 percent from Edwards Aquifer wells, 19 percent from Alliance Water and 12 percent from agreements with San Marcos and Green Valley Special Utility District. None of this changes what to do with a leak, but it explains why the system has several partners.
Other water providers and gas
The City of Kyle's dam safety page lists these contacts. Your own bill shows which one serves your address, and the city's jurisdiction finder can look it up.
